Forefront Technologies held a seminar for KSA esteemed partners and clients
Tuesday November 15, 2022 – Forefront Technologies held a seminar in the heart of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh at the Sheraton Hotel on November 15th, 2022, where they welcomed over 100 esteemed partners and clients.
The seminar was organized exclusively to update partners and resellers about the latest news related to hardware and software products from PFU Fujitsu, Image Access, MediaInfo, QSan, Western Digital, QStar and Spectra Logic. A group of Industry experts and panelists from Forefront Technologies and our esteemed vendor partners presented their latest trends in Digitization of physical assets, Content Capture, Storage Backup and Archiving.
Mr. Georges Mehchi, Managing Director of Forefront Technologies along with Mr. John Khalife, Operation Manager at Forefront Technologies introduced the company and the panelists to the audience, which was followed by several presentations by Mr. Tarek AkL, Partner Manager Middle East at Fujitsu PFU on the latest hardware and software for content digitization and capture, Mr. Achim Pfriender, Sales Director at Image Access International gave a presentation on the latest products and solutions from the Bookeye and WideTEK families of scanners which the audience followed with great interest. Mr. Andrei Limenskii of Forefront Technologies presented Software Solutions & Digital Transformation Management from MediaInfo.
Mr. Surya Ramanathan, introduced the QSAN range of Enterprise NVMe and All Flash Storage Arrays and its application for Data Analytics, AI, HPC and ML and further elaborated on the hybrid SAN Storages and Unified and NAS Storages. Besides the audience were also informed about the security features of the QSAN Storages and the enterprise features such as Deduplication, Thin Provisioning, QS RAID and Auto Tiering. This was followed by a presentation by Mr. Mohammed Shadab of Western Digital, wherein he highlighted the capabilities of the WD JBOD’s to expand the Storage Density of QSAN Products and the range of new hard drives introduced with their enterprise features.
The audience were then informed on the threats of ransomware and how data could be safeguarded using different storage tiers on the cloud through a presentation by Mr. Tim Beck, Territory Sales Manager – Middle East, Spectra Logic along with his colleague Mr. Adam Rix, along with a data protection and enterprise archive software solution presentation by QStars Mr. Riccardo Finotti. Mr. Finotti explained the importance of active data and data at rest and how these could be moved across different storage tiers thereby bringing in efficiency into how Data could be stored, protected, and archived for long term retention.

Forefront Technologies has also set the stage for 2023 Sales and Marketing activities for the Kingdom, getting the partners ready to start a new year.
