• Capture Software Lite is a special version of Capture Software that is shipped with all units of the Kodak i30, i40, i50, i60, i80, and i200, i100 Series Scanners. This production version is sufficient to be used as a departmental scanning application. It allows scanning, viewing, and storing of images in standard batch output formats (e.g., Single-Page TIFF, Multi-page TIFF, PDF, and Multiple Batch Output Formats). All features of the i30, i40, i50, i60, i80, and i200, i100 Series Scanners are supported. In addition, Auto-Crop and Deskew (for both front and rear images) with the i80 Scanner is supported. No hardware key is required.

A full featured version can be purchased through Forefront Technologies. For a full featured production scanning application, upgrade to the full production version of Kodak Capture Software to receive the following additional features and functionality:

• Software bar code and patch code reading
• OCR Indexing
• Full indexing of up to 10 index fields from bar codes, OCR zones, or key data entry (only one index field is available in Lite mode)
• Blank Page Separation
• Automatic Batch and Document Separation
• Auto-deletion of blank images
• Merge and Split of bi-tonal images
• User Profiles
• Post-Scanning Toolbar functions (e.g., Insert, Rescan, Move image)
• Access to all Capture Software Batch Output Formats (currently over 30 available) for 3rd party digital document management systems.
